Using The Inline Widget In WordPress
Inline Widgets are a powerful tool to use in your blogs both to automatically add standard content but also to distribute information through your RSS feed.
I've used one in this post just to show the effect and have used it to add a Resource box. The value in this situation is that an Inline widget is included in the content and is therefore published with your RSS feed – including that valuable inbound link!
You can find out about installing an inline widget in your WordPress blog on the Inline widget lesson page.
Added later: of course, I should add this widget is a Semiologic premium widget available to me because this blog is built with Semiologic. It just goes to show how these time saving features become the norm when you get used to them. But it's also another example of why investing in the right tools pays off big time.
