General
This is where you set the basic characteristics of your blog.
Select General from the Settings menu

Note that the text is bolded and a small arrow on the left to indicate where you are working.
Blog Title and Tagline

1. Enter the blog Title you want to use.
2. Enter the Tag line you want to use.
These will appear first the way you entered them as blog title and description when creating your blog in Fantastico – but they are easily changed here.
3 & 4. WordPress address and Blog address tell you the correct URL for what you have created. As this blog was created in the root directory so they are both giving the root address.
4. A useful feature of the Blog address is that if you have installed your blog in a folder e.g. wp-demo.info/blog then by entering the root address as the Blog address then it will appear to users as though it is in the root. In real terms that means that if someone enters wp-demo.info into their address bar then your blog will appear as though it is at that address – even though it is actually at wp-demo.info/blog.
5. Enter an active email address so that both the blog and your visitors can communicate with you if necessary.
6. For the moment you don't need to worry about Membership or New Users – just check that New Users is set to the lowest level of Subscribers.
7. Set your time zone so that your posts will be correctly timed and dated.
Title and Tag line

The changes you made to the Title and Tag line are immediately reflected on your site.
Date and Time Formats

Lower down you can choose the date and time format you would like your blog to use.
Don't forget to SAVE your changes.
Return to front page.

You can go back to the front page from the Dashboard by clicking on your domain name.
Don't forget to SAVE CHANGES.
