Another example of 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'.

By default everything you upload and publish on your blog will be stored in the wp-content/uploads folder and by default Wordpress checks that it will organise this into month/year based folders. It even tells you not to mess with this setting.

Nothing more for you to do until you are making good money and choose to get all technical and start worrying about the other settings. You wouldn't waste so much effort would you? After all, if you are making good money without it then why would you think you might need it?

Don't forget to SAVE CHANGES.
