Fuzzy Widgets Plugin For WordPress

The fuzzy widgets plugin for WordPress will let you display lists with a fuzzy number of posts, pages, links or comments.

Similar to the commonly available Related Posts but more comprehensive as it also covers pages, links and comments. It's effect is therefore to provide the visitor with another way of exploring the post/page subject and also provides another cluster of related links for the search engines.

Select the Panel

Open the drop down menu of panels by clicking on the down arrow.
Click on the panel where you want the widget loaded

Show Current Widgets

Click on Show to display current widgets.
Add the Fuzzy Widget by clicking Add alongside its name in the list of Available Widgets.

Edit

Click on Edit to open the Widget to select your options.
1. Change the Title to your choice.
2. Select which Post or Section categories you wish this widget to apply to.
3. Select how many days back you want it to apply.
4. Select whether you want it to show additonal information related to each link.

In practice, you may need to use a little trial and error with the settings to arrive at the effect you wish to achieve.

Multiple selections

Multiple copies of Fuzzy Widgets can be loaded.
By matching a subjects with a Context you can arrange the Fuzzy Widget links to appear only when the relevant page is being viewed.

Example

This display does not occur on any other page.
